Power Supply Cable

A power cord is an electrical component used to connect appliances to a power supply. It consists of copper wire insulated by a plastic coating, with connectors moulded on one or both ends. Typically, the standard power cable cord consists of one end that has a male connector or plug that inserts into a wall outlet, electrical receptacle, or extension cord. The other end usually has a female connector that attaches to the appliance or another male connector.
